- MSci (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Chemistry)
- First class honours in all four years of studies including being ranked top of the year in final year
- PhD fully funded by the Hong Kong Croucher Scholarship Foundation and the Cambridge
- Overseas Trust Scholarship, and her research was based around studies towards the total synthesis of a macrocyclic polyketide the Aplyronines with Professor Ian Paterson FRSC
- Multiple award holder and a published scientist with extensive experience in drug discovery research and biotechnology ventures, and a specialty in medicinal chemistry and structure-based drug design
- Taught second year undergraduate chemistry students in small groups at University of Cambridge

- Careers mentor of Jesus College Cambridge, and a Broadening Horizon Careers Mentor for ethnic minority scientists for the Royal Society of Chemistry
